Blu3 DAO wins BIG at ETH Mexico P.1

“Vitalik, hermano, ya eres Mexicano!” was heard all across the historic venue Projecto Prim where ETH Mexico took place on August 19th to August 22nd 2022.

was very intentional about the selection of the venue.

Projecto Público Prim is a historic space where union, culture and creativity are celebrated and invites the public to share projects that consciously rescue, risk and transcend the Mexican present.

And so the location was perfect. ETH Mexico would end up being the hackathon where our Blu3 Latam team reunites and leaves a lasting impression on the community.

Blu3 LATAM DAO was founded after ETH RIO, when previous scholars and contributors, experienced the need to onboard more Latin american womxn into the web3 ecosystem. Blu3 LATAM was born under Blu3 DAO’s umbrella under the leadership of power house Latinas Marysol, Natalia, Randy & Mariana. The DAO aims to continue with its mission to empower women, non-binary and trans people to learn, explore and build their careers in the web3 space to achieve financial freedom, working with the Latin American community.

The Latam team arrives at ETH MEXICO with 16 scholars and 9 Blu3 core members from Mexico, Argentina & the Dominican Republic. With pure intentionality, the team stays in the women owned Hostel Casa Kanabri. The Latam team prioritizes local women and non-binary scholars to create a sisterhood from August 17th - 22th and beyond. 6 teams were created. The hackers had fun attending cultural and web3 side events, parties and also made time to learn how to dance salsa.
